MISSION STATEMENT
ICAC is the internationally recognized body for the accountancy profession in the Caribbean, with an expanding influence in the region. It regulates the profession and promotes the highest standards of professional and ethical conduct. Through thought leadership and the provision of research, CPD (Continuing Professional development) and other services, it adds value to its members and the wider community.

MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS

The National Accounting umbrella bodies for Caribbean states are welcome to join the ICAC.

A letter of application should be accompanied by the instrument of incorporation (statute or memorandum / articles). If approved at the ICAC Board meeting, a certificate will be issued on payment of the appropriate membership fee. The current annual membership fee for Territorial Membership is based on the total membership in the territorial body and is currently US$15 per member of that body. Members in retirement are excluded from the computation, which is based on the number as at 31st December of the previous year.

Affiliate Membership is open to accountancy regulatory, certification and monitoring bodies of regional and international stature. The current annual fee for Affiliate Membership is US$3000 per annum.

BENEFITS

Members and Affiliates are afforded the opportunity to take an active part in the moulding of and decision on polices that affect them. They also can draw on the collective experience of the region in addressing issues affecting accountants in a systematic way. Membership of the ICAC will lend greater leverage to the negotiating process for the benefit of Accountancy Professionals in our region.
