To Launch Regional Practice Monitoring
Programme
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of
the Caribbean has taken a significant step
towards implementing an effective practice
monitoring programme for accountants in the
region. The practice monitoring programme
will involve reviews and assessments of
practitioners within ICAC member territories
to ensure that they are complying with
internationally acceptable rules and
standards for the global accountancy

In an effort to broaden the scope of CPE

KESDEE Inc., an e-learning solutions

Professional Education (CPE) courses to

Executive Officer of the Institute of

At its 17th AGM meeting held at the Princess

At the ICAC's Directors' meeting held
January 2004 in St. Lucia, the Board
approved the adoption of a flag. It was felt
that this would enhance the brand identity
of the Institute and emphasize the unity

Signs Historic US$650,000 Agreement With IDB
The
Institute of Chartered Accountants of Trinidad
and Tobago (ICATT) and the Inter-American Development
Bank (IDB) recently signed a historic agreement
for a three-year project aimed at strengthening
Trinidad’s accounting profession. The IDB’s
Multilateral Investment Fund (MIF) will provide
funding in the amount of US$650,000 for the
project, which is entitled, “Improving the Application
of and Compliance with International Accounting

Board of Directors of the Inter-American Development
Bank (IDB) has approved a technical cooperation
project developed by the Institute of Chartered
